Our chimney kits are complete, prefabricated systems that include everything needed for a wood-burning sauna stove and are specifically rated for high-temperature sauna use.

They’re fully compatible with all wood sauna stoves in our selection. (Only Narvi stoves require an adapter that we’ll include in your order free of charge if you buy a chimney kit together with any Narvi stove.)

Package Includes:

⁃ Uninsulated connecting pipe: 3 ft 3.5 in (1 m), which can be cut down to a minimum allowed length of 8 inches (0.2 m)

⁃ Insulated section: 4 ft 11 in (1.5 m) total, shipped in two pieces (3 ft 3.5 in / 1 m and 1 ft 7.5 in / 0.5 m) to be joined with a locking band

⁃ Ceiling trim plate: Suitable for ceiling pitches from 0–15°

⁃ Additional insulation for the ceiling pass-through

⁃ Flexible roof flashing: Suitable for slanted and nearly flat roofs, 5–30°

⁃ Rain cap: Slips over the top section and clamps into place

⁃ Adjustable damper

All necessary locking bands are included in the package. When planning your installation, please note that the joints of the insulated section must not be hidden inside the ceiling cavity or roof structure.

Note about Color: The Natural Stainless Steel Patina

If you choose the steel-colored chimney kit, it’s normal for it to change color. It’s called a heat bloom and happens to stainless steel in high heat.

Heat bloom typically affects the uninsulated chimney section only, leaving the insulated part looking silvery.

The color change can be beautiful, giving your chimney an iridescent rainbow finish:

If you don’t like this kind of look, then it’s wiser to choose the black chimney kit.
