Harvia Cilindro 6.8 kW & 9 kW Electric Sauna Heaters with Built-in Controls

Harvia Cilindro 6.8 kW & 9 kW Electric Sauna Heaters with Built-in Controls

Being the most popular grid pillar heater worldwide, Harvia Cilindro combines quality, elegance, and ease of use.

Its massive stone capacity of 176 lbs guarantees you never run out of löyly (steam). You get feisty löyly by pouring water on top, and softer steam by throwing water on the sides. The grid design allows for more even heat than you’d get with enclosed models.

As with all rock-heavy heaters, Cilindro produces much better and long-lasting löyly than wall-mounted heaters that carry significantly less rocks.

Harvia Cilindro restores heat, meaning it gives you hotness and löyly even after it’s turned off. This is most beneficial when you prefer longer sauna sessions and/or there are several people using the sauna at the same time.

When your sauna is sized properly for Cilindro, it takes about an hour for it to heat your sauna. Heating a sizable stone mass always takes longer than heating less stones, so go with a typical wall-mounted heater if faster heating (and higher temps & less löyly) is your main goal.

Cilindro’s built-in controls include a thermostat switch and a 12-hour timer, offering a continuous operating time of 4 hours and a delay timer function of up to 8 hours.
